Beyond the Proboard rules, I think it might be nice to set out a few of my own. A code of conduct with some pretty basic guidelines and restrictions, but rules all the same, so that it's clear-cut what can and can't be done on this forum. So, here you are;
Respect
It's nothing new, just a simple request that you pay respect to other forum users. Flaming and bullying will be removed. Treat new and old members with equal respect. Arguing is fine if kept in hand, because I realize such problems are only a thing of life. But please try to keep it under control.
Photos, Pictures, and Links
Post as many as you want, really, but please keep them appropriate. This site is available to people of all ages, so try and keep your posted content to a PG-13 level. Excessive gore, profanity, or things pornographic in nature will be removed by a moderator. If one posts these things more than once, they'll be warned, and if they repeat it again there is the possibility of being banned.
Spam
Nobody likes spam, so don't post it. Post things were they belong (ex, no out of character threads in the role play section). Don't post a topic in which the whole of the content is "Hi" or something similar. And if you see a thread already started for something, post in that before you decide to start a new one. For example, if you have a love for dinosaurs and there's a dinosaur thread already, just post on it instead of creating a whole new one. Spam posts will be removed or moved to another thread.
However, if you fancy starting a High School themed role play while there is already one running with a similar premises, I'll turn a blind eye so long as they are different enough for them to not really interfere with one another.
Trolling
Please don't. Use your best judgement when it comes to things like that. Don't troll bait and for the love of god please just don't be that annoying troll. Humor is fine and thanked, but trolling is not.
It all boils down very simple: be respectful of others and the forum.
